Identity

The Circle Historical Calculation Instruments (the KRING) consists of enthusiasts, collectors and researchers of historical calculation instruments in the broadest sense of the word.
The objectives are:

Personal data that we process

The KRING uses personal data for the above purpose (name, address, telephone, bank account number, e-mail, photo) as shown below.
The KRING sends newsletters and communications to people who are members of the KRING. When using KRING wide e-mail, the BCC field will be used to limit the distribution of e-mail addresses.
The KRING is involved in joint (inter)national contacts and activities with organizations with a similar identity and purpose and may use your personal data for this purpose.

Management and Security of personal data.

The personal data is managed by a member of the KRING. De KRING takes the protection of your data seriously to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification.

Viewing, correcting or deleting data

When registering as a KRING member, the privacy statement is accepted. You can unsubscribe at any time. You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You can send a request for this to the contact address on the website. To ensure that a request is made by you, we ask you to identify yourself. We will respond as quickly as possible, but within four weeks.

Retention period of personal data

De KRING does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary and therefore for as long as you wish to continue receiving the Kring newsletter. After cancellation of membership, your personal data will be deleted from our active files. The data may be kept in an archive for historical, statistical or scientific purposes.

Sharing personal data with third parties

The KRING does not provide or share personal data to third parties who are not members of the KRING, unless the KRING is forced to do so to comply with a legal obligation.

Automated decision making

The KRING does not make decisions on matters based on automated processing of personal data that could have (significant) consequences for people. This concerns decisions that are taken by computer programs or systems, without a human being involved (for example a member of the KRING).

Website

Our website does not collect personal information about website visitors.
De KRING does not use cookies or similar techniques.
We will not post information about people (such as photos, films, sound recordings or documents) on our website without permission.
